Youngtown Sidewalk Improvement Program-Phase II
Youngtown Sidewalk Improvement Program- 6 Project Phases Completed to Date. Standard Construction has completed 6 project phases of the Town of Youngtown’s Sidewalk Improvement Program. The projects have included the removal and replacement sidewalk to attain full compliance with ADA requirements. The scope of work has extended beyond the sidewalk to include the replacement of driveways, curbs, gutters, as well as sub-grade preparation. Some phases have also included the placement and compaction of new ABC material, followed by the application of fresh asphalt paving. The landscaping was also restored to its original condition, harmonizing the entire area with its surroundings.
Roper Lake State Park Wastewater System Upgrades (CMAR)
Standard completed extensive improvements at Roper Lake State Park in Safford, Arizona under the Construction Manager at Risk contracting method. The project included the construction of a new 8-inch sewer main within the park, which was connected to the existing City of Safford’s 18-inch sewer trunk on Stockton Road. Additionally, a new recreational vehicle dumping station with two dumping ports was installed. Restroom structures at 6 sites were replaced with new CXT restrooms and then were connected to the new water and sewer service extensions, with existing sewer services disconnected from the septic tank system and rerouted to the new sewer main. Furthermore, two existing restrooms were renovated to meet ADA compliance.This work included updated fixtures, a new roof, new windows, paint, and general repairs. Electrical improvements and landscape improvements were also performed.
